Ubisoft is a globetrotting dev, with studios all over the world and a series literally about drug-induced time travel. So it makes sense the series occasionally pops over to Japan to hang out in JRPG territory. That’s a fun way of stating that after a previous collaboration in Monster Hunter World, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed is back. A new event quest for Monster Hunter: World: Iceborne will allow Assassin’s Creed fans to upgrade their special mantles from the last event and make it viable at Master Rank.

Staring on April 10, 2020, players will be able to take on a new quest called The Assassin. Playing this new event will let you upgrade the special Assassin’s Hood mantle, making it strong enough for use in Master Rank quests. And if you don’t have the mantle because you missed the original event, you’re in luck.
Capcom is really going all out for the Monster Hunter kids this weekend. Capcom already announced that most events from both before and during Iceborne are being set to live, from now through April 9, 2020. That’s right before the new Assassin’s Creed event, so if you missed it before you can catch up.
Hunters, we know a lot of you might be spending more time at home lately, so we decided to push most #MHWorld & #Iceborne Event Quests live starting today, March 27, through April 9. Happy hunting! pic.twitter.com/5zgIYrwaJr
