A new Forspoken trailer appeared during the September 2021 PlayStation Showcase. In it, people get to see more of Frey Holland both in the real world and this new environment. We also see when she meets her “cuff”/mentor for the first time. It also offered a Spring 2022 release window for Forspoken.
Things begin with Frey in the real world. She’s talking about how she wants to get away and find a better place. It’s then that she ends up in this new world. That’s when she finds a cuff around her wrist that is talking to her. She also revels in her ability to do things with her mind and use magic.
Naturally, Frey is now special. We see her meet people in the world. She’s also asked to face someone named Sylar. She comes upon this other woman, who is sitting upon a throne, at the end of the clip.
Here’s the new Forspoken trailer. There don’t appear to be any spoilers, though it does introduce some new characters, opponents, abilities, and situations for the first time.
Forspoken will come to the PlayStation 5 and PC in Spring 2022. The last em>Forspoken trailer offered a look at its framerates and 4K resolution.
