New Final Fantasy Piano Opera CD Has Music From Final Fantasy VII, VIII And IX

Square Enix will be releasing a new Piano Opera: Final Fantasy VII/VIII/IX soundtrack CD, the publisher has announced in Japan.

You can hear some of the music on the OST’s main site, and the CD will cover music from each game including some well remembered songs such as “Melodies of Life” and “Liberi Fatali”.

The CD is decently priced, going for just 2,880 yen (US$29) and you can order it at the Square Enix store here. Personally, I was hoping for “Eyes on Me” to be included as well, but we can’t have everything.

This isn’t the first piano soundtrack done by Square Enix either (Not by a looooong shot) but aficionados will never say no to more.

If you happen to be in Japan on May 10th, you might prefer to hear this live in a concert hall. The Yomiuri Otemachi Hall will be hosting a concert with the music at 6,000 yen (US$60) You can check out the details and camp the websites for tickets here.
