Bandai Namco released a trailer for the fifth piece of Dragon Ball Z: Kararot DLC. The new add-on will feature a new scenario based on the original Dragon Ball anime and is focused around the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai.
This new DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot takes place before the events of the main game, three years after Goku fought Great Demon King Piccolo and won. Piccolo returned as Majunior and intends to use the tournament to enact his revenge and change the fate of the world.
The fifth Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC will focus heavily on ground-based combat, all taking place on a tournament stage. The trailer showed off fights between Goku and Junior, Mercenary Tao and Tien and Goku and Tien. Finally, there’s a fight between Goku and a giant version of Junior. The trailer also shows off new mechanics including ring-out victories and knock down counts.

No release date has been announced for this next add-on. However, it will be part of the Season 2 Pass for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which gives access to the fourth, fifth and sixth DLC expansions. The fourth DLC, Bardock – Alone Against Fate, released in January 2023.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC. The fifth piece of DLC does not currently have a release date.
