New Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Trailer Revealed at Jump Festa

Toei Animation shared more information on the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie during Jump Festa 2022. The movie will launch on April 22, 2022, and Toei revealed two more voice actors who will join the cast. Hiroshi Kamiya will play Gamma 1, and Mamoru Miyano will play Gamma 2. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The script and character designer for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is Akira Toriyama, the creator of the original Dragon Ball manga. From the trailer, it is possible to see that the Red Ribbon Army will make a return. The trailer also heavily features Gohan and Piccolo, and is a good look at how the combat sequences will play out. The CG animation that was visible in the New York Comic Con 2021 trailer remains prominent.

Hiroshi Kamiya and Mamoru Miyano are perhaps two of the more famous Japanese voice actors in the industry. Kamiya previously voiced Tieria Erde in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and Trafalgar Law in One Piece. Meanwhile, Miyano is famous for his portrayal of Setsuna F. Seiei from Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and Light Yagami in Death Note.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will premiere in Japanese movie theaters on April 22, 2022.
