Ryu ga Gotoku Studio is working on a new Yakuza title featuring new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga, and series producer Daisuke Sato says they’re announcing more info on the game on July 10, 2019. [Thanks, Gematsu.]
In an interview with Gamebase, the producer couldn’t share anything about the previous Yakuza games’ protagonist Kazuma Kiryu making an appearance in a new title, but he did say that Sega will have the latest information to share on the new Yakuza game along with the reveal of the supporting actress for the game.
Sega held an audition in March to find an actress to play the role of Ichiban Kasuga’s partner.
Ichiban Kasuga debuted in Yakuza Online and is set to become the protagonist of the upcoming Yakuza game that is currently in development for PlayStation 4.
