As a reminder, Advance Wars 1+2 was originally supposed to appear on the Switch on April 8, 2022. However, the war in the Ukraine resulted in a delay. Out of respect to the situation at the time, Nintendo opted to delay it indefinitely. However, the game was officially finished, and one person who pre-ordered even got and confirmed being able to play it.
Since it’s been a while, Advance Wars 1+2 is WayForward’s remake of the two GBA games. It includes both titles, as well as online multiplayer. That also means new character designs for all of the commanding officer characters in the Switch versions of the Advance Wars games.
Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp will appear on April 21, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch.
