The special Neon Genesis Evangelion Tokyo Skytree event has been extended to May 31, 2021. Originally, the event was only to last until the end of March to celebrate the release of Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.1+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time. This special event features unique installations and areas where attendees can take pictures with various statues. Additionally, the Tokyo Skytree will be lit up in various colors representing the different EVAs and EVA pilots during this period. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

As previously mentioned, a few unique installations are at the Neon Genesis Evangelion Tokyo Skytree event. This includes a Spear of Longinus installation and an EVA Unit-01 statue. However, the statue only features the head of the EVA. Regardless, attendees can still pose with it to take commemorative pictures.

Additionally, “Soul’s Refrain,” the theme of Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth has been added to the roster of video content that is part of the collaboration event screening.

This collaboration event features unique merchandise that can only be purchased at the Tokyo Skytree. A special menu is also available to order from at this event. Attendees can sample from a variety of Neon Genesis Evangelion related foods and drinks during this period.

Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time is immediately available to watch in Japanese theaters.
