NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 Patch Adds New Rewind Options

NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 Patch rewind

SNK released a new NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 patch. The goal with this one is to make both character unlocking and rewinding easier. It is also designed to help people who bought some of the fighters in the collection individually import that save data to the larger collection.

Here are the full patch notes from the announcement tweet. To rewind in NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 after the patch, you can hold the Switch shoulder buttons.

The announcement didn’t explain how unlocking will be easier. Normally in SNK vs Capcom: Match of the Millennium, people have to reply the game multiple times to unlock characters. For example, Geese and M. Bison are both secret characters. After you finish a run, you might see a portrait of one of them and randomly have a few blocks covering them removed. When you remove all the blocks, they are added to the roster.

NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 and its newest patch are available for the Nintendo Switch.
