Good Smile Company announced it canceled the Nendoroid of former Hololive Vtuber Yozora Mel. The figure was in development and had appeared at various stages of the process at different events.

It’s been quite some time since we’d even seen this figure. The last appearance was at Hololive Super Expo 2023 about a year ago. It and the AZKi figures appeared as unpainted prototypes. Painted prototypes of Aki Rosenthal and Yuzuki Choco also showed up at the same time.

In case you missed it at the time, here is how it was shaping up:

While the Yozora Mel Nendoroid won’t be released, a number of pieces of merchandise based on the Hololive Vtuber did appear ahead of her leaving the company. Banpresto released a Hololive If Relax Time figure of the character. That was a static, budget figure of her. There were also “birthday” items like a hat.

As a reminder, Hololive terminated the contract of Yozora Mel back in January 2024. It was an amicable split however, compared to other dismissals, and Mel herself was able to release a final message on social media. Her social media account is still around, but her YouTube account is closed.
