Nendoroid Hatsune Miku 2.0 Is A Neat Upgrade Over The Original

The original Miku Nendoroid is the one on the left. The one on the right is the 2.0 version. The basic differences come down to her having a slightly slimmer body than the original and a metallic paint finish. She’s also been completely re-sculpted from scratch. The original Miku, the Good Smile Company say, was Nendoroid #33, making her among the earliest Nendoroid figurines.

Miku 2.0, on the other hand, is Nendoroid #300. Other improvements to her design include new joints in her hair, which you can see above. Additionally, her upper arms and arm covers are separate parts, which allows for more poses.

As far as other accessories are concerned, Miku 2.0 comes with a guitar, keyboard and speakers. These are based on the Hatsune Miku and Superstars: Project Mirai game.

Finally, it’s also easier to swap facial expressions now. The front fringe part of her hair comes off, instead of having to remove the neck joint. Miku 2.0 will remain compatible with other Nendoroid expressions. She’s up for pre-order now.
