Back in November 2022, the Nekopara OVA and Nekopara OVA Extra ended up delisted from Steam, but now both are back again. Sekai Project announced the two items are available as free DLC for the game Nekopara Extra.
There does seem to be a change to these additions, however. The new product pages for both videos do not note them as having Steam Trading Cards. When Nekopara OVA and Nekopara OVA Extra originally appeared, people could earn eight from each one.
The two OVAs tell different stories about the Minazuki family. In one, Chocola and Vanilla are both children. The other is a more recent story starring characters from the games.
This new DLC appears alongside a temporary series sale. The games are all reduced until February 27, 2023. Here are the prices for each one on Steam:
- Nekopara Vol. 0 – $1.19
- Nekopara Vol. 1 – $3.99
- Nekopara Vol. 2 – $3.99
- Nekopara Vol. 3 – $4.99
- Nekopara Vol. 4 – $6.99
- Nekopara Extra – $1.99
The reason the two videos are tied to Nekopara Extra is because the game was the $800,000 stretch goal for a Kickstarter project.
Nekopara Extra is only available on PCs, and the two OVAs are now available as free DLC for the visual novel. The PC versions of the games in the series are on sale until February 27, 2023.
