Ahead of E3 2019, Natsume confirmed it is working on a Harvest Moon spin-off called Harvest Moon: Mad Dash. In it, farmers would be matching color-coordinated crops to harvest them and earn points. While a few screenshots were released, a new trailer spends about two minutes looking at what it will be like to tend crops alone or with friends.

The Harvest Moon: Mad Dash trailer shows a look at the map and the different stages. When playing, you’ll have to combine things like crops, fish, and hay bales to tend crops and care for animals. As you do, either alone or with friends, you’ll earn points. If you earn enough points, you’ll earn up to three stars per level. It also shows how, before you head into a level, you’ll be able to trigger Harvest Sprite Powers to do things like add 30 seconds to the timer, increase your power gauge by 50%, or guarantee a “healthy harvest.”

Here is the Harvest Moon: Mad Dash trailer.

Harvest Moon: Mad Dash will come to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Fall 2019.
