After lackluster sales of Dead to Rights Retribution and Clash of the Titans, Namco Bandai is cutting sales expectations for their next two worldwide games. Namco Bandai planned on worldwide sales of 700,000 units for Dead to Rights Retribution and another 700,000 for Clash of the Titans. Actual sales of Dead to Rights Retribution were 350,000 units. Clash of the Titans sales were even lower with 250,000 units worldwide. Expectations for Enslaved: Odyssey to the West dropped from one million to 800,000 units.

Just a few months ago, Namco Bandai forecasted Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom and Splatterhouse would be million sellers worldwide. Namco Bandai dropped expectations to 300,000 units for Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom and 350,000 units or Splatterhouse.

Meanwhile, Namco Bandai bumped sales of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction up. The multi-platform ninja fighting game is expected to reach one million units, up from 700,000. Ben 10 got a slight boost to 800,000 units from 700,000 units.

Following these results, Namco Bandai said they are reviewing their worldwide consumer game development system. Namco Bandai said their company’s forte is domestic led development. Another issue Namco Bandai wants to address is balance between franchise games (i.e. Dragon Ball and Naruto) and "challenge" titles.
