In January, Namco Bandai released Family Ski, the first in soon to be many games with the “Family” casual sports brand. One of the nifty features is Family Ski takes advantage of the Balance Board peripheral to simulate skiing opposed to just doing motions with the nunchuck/remote. Awesome? Maybe. Does it make the Balance Board more relevant? Absolutely.
Namco Bandai renamed the title We Ski (surprisingly not Wii Ski with two Mii like characters replacing the i’s) for North America and it is coming this spring. Perhaps around Wii Fit’s May 15 launch in North America and during a warm season where shoveling snow is a (temporarily) forgotten memory.
