The next Nintendo 64 title to join the Nintendo Switch Online lineup will be the original Pokemon Snap. Nintendo announced that the game will release for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers on June 24, 2022. The game will be playable with both the Switch’s N64 Controller and the Joy-Con.
HAL Laboratories developed Pokemon Snap and released the game in 1999. As a Pokemon photographer, the player follows a set course around various areas to capture photos of a variety of Pokemon. Professor Oak will then grade these photos based on certain factors and give points, unlocking additional tools based on the player’s total score. A remake of the game, New Pokemon Snap, was released for the Nintendo Switch back in April 2021.

The announcement trailer shows footage of the game being played on the Nintendo Switch. Much like other N64 titles, the game plays in a 4:3 aspect ratio and will allow users to create a save state at any point. Furthermore, players will also be able to set their own button bindings if they do not have the N64 controller.

Previous N64 titles for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack include Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards and F-Zero X. In addition to classic N64 and Sega Genesis games, the Expansion Pack service also offers DLC for Animal Crossing New Horizons as well as Splatoon 2.
