Crunchyroll noted that people attending NYC 2023 can watch “UA Heroes Battle” at the Empire Stage. This screening will happen before the Japanese one. People who stop by to watch the show get My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game cards to tie in with the event. Following this showing, the episode will eventually appear on Crunchyroll proper. However, the company didn’t note an air date for it on the service yet.

Here’s the official key art for the My Hero Academia season 6 “UA Heroes Battle” original episode. At the top, we see Katsuki, Shoto, and Deku posing with trading cards. At the bottom are Ochaco, Hanta, Tsuyu, and Minoru watching them. Cards of different Class 1-A characters in their superhero attire appear as well.

This is because this special episode revolves around the members of Class 1-A playing the new card game UA Heroes Battle. Mirio Togata brings decks into the classroom, resulting in the students competing against one another.

The My Hero Academia season 6 episode “UA Heroes Battle” will air at NYCC 2023 on October 13, 2023 at 5pm ET. It will show up on Crunchyroll at a later date. The seasons of the show and films are streaming on Crunchyroll. Viz Media is handling the localization outside of Japan.
