None of the voice actors from the past will reprise their roles for Muv-Luv Alternative due the producer wanting Muv-Luv to be a series that never ends. By switching up the actors, it will be easier to bring in someone new if a main voice actor retires. The new cast is:

  • Takeru Shirogane: Koichi Kamiki (Debut role)
  • Sumika Kagami: Tomori Kusunoki (Lienn from Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online, Romin Kirishima from Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens)
  • Meiya Mitsurugi: Karin Nanami (Yuriko Nishinotoin from Kakegurui)

The new promotional video for Muv-Luv Alternative lists the main staff and shows off the animation for mechas fighting. It gives a good look at the Type-97 Fubuki before ending with the key visual.
