Bandai Namco announced the worldwide distribution of approximately 2,000 songs from the Tales of series. It includes songs from games like Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Destiny. The company established the sound label Bandai Namco Game Music in September 2022, through which the songs will be available. Bandai Namco launched their music label, Bandai Namco Game Music in September 2022. The starting roster of available songs included many Bandai Namco franchises, like Taiko no Tatsujin. Soundtracks from titles it published, like FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, also appeared. The first Tales of title to make the jump to the label was the original soundtrack from Tales of Arise, the latest entry in the JRPG series. It is available digitally on platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music. Joining to this initial roster are the soundtrack of more Tales of games, available now.
As of December 15, 2022, the soundtracks for Tales of Phantasia (both the Super Famicom, PlayStation and Gameboy Advance versions), Tales of Destiny (PS1 and PS2 versions), Tales of Destiny 2, and Tales of Arise are online. More songs will be available on December 22, 2022. Those will be the complete soundtracks for Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Vesperia, Tales of Hearts, and Tales of Graces. More will be aded at a later date.
Tales of Arise is available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. The game’s soundtrack is available on select digital platforms, including Spotify and YouTube Music.
