Those of you who’ve played Riviera: The Promised Land and Yggdra Union may be surprised to know that Sting’s latest RPG is an action RPG titled Baroque, a remake of a Sega Saturn/PSOne RPG. Dengeki Online reports that the official Baroque site has been updated with new content such as character bio, story, and a downloadable wallpaper. Click here to view the official site.

Baroque’s story revolves around a huge heat wave ruining the planet where human beings have now become mutated and worship strange gods and are often at war with each other and the sudden presence of Ikei demons; yet in the middle of the world lies the Nerve Tower, a strange place whose purpose is unknown. A young hero takes it upon himself to venture into the tower and hopes to bring an end to the suffering of his planet’s people once and for all. There is no release date for Baroque. Looks pretty cool. Hopefully there’ll be a bit more information on the game’s battle system.
