Worldwide release date for the Moon Switch port has been revealed, and it is rather soon. On August 27, 2020, Onion Games will bring the anti-RPG to the system outside of Japan. (It has been available on the console there since October 2019.) It will be available in the eShop for $18.99/€15.99/£14.49.
Moon: Remix RPG Adventure appeared on the PlayStation in Japan back in 1997 and is known for eschewing many traditional RPG conventions. Your character, a young boy, has been sucked into the game he was playing. From there, you interact with characters, save the souls of monsters killed by the hero, and raise your Love Level. If you continually find love, you might restore moonlight to the game’s world.
Here’s the release date trailer for the Moon Switch port.
New English screenshots were also shared.
There’ve been hints that this release was imminent. While it was delayed back in December 2019, the English version was still 40% complete at that time. Then, in June 2020, Onion Games noted that the game was very close to being ready for prime time. That’s when it confirmed it had entered the debugging stage.
The Moon Switch port will arrive on the eShop outside of Japan on August 27, 2020. Its official website is now open.
