Renegade Kid have announced a release date for Moon Chronicles on the Nintendo 3DS. The game will be available in North America on May 15th for $8.99.

 

Or rather, episode 1 of the game will be. Moon Chronicles is being broken up into four episodes for its 3DS re-release. You can find details on each episode here and 3D screenshots here.

 

Certain parts of Moon Chronicles were inspired by Metroid, Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham said to us back in February. This is reflected in how health pick-ups and finding power-ups works within the game.
