Monster Hunter: World dominated digital sales in February 2018 according to Famitsu, selling around 160,000 copies on PlayStation 4. Dynasty Warriors 9 on PS4 was next, with around 34,000 copies sold digitally, and third was Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet with nearly 22,000 copies. [Thanks, Dualshockers!]

 

Here’s the full top 10 ranking for digital sales, including the percentages of total sales:

    1. Monster Hunter World – PS4 -160,190/25.1%
    2. Dynasty Warriors 9 – PS4 – 34,338/18.2%
    3. Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet – PS4 – 21,810/17.3%
    4. Dragon Ball FighterZ – PS4 – 19,458/19.0%
    5. Metal Gear Survive – PS4 – 12,033/31.8%
    6. Secret of Mana – PS4 – 10,521/23.8%
    7. NieR: Automata – PS4 – 8,681/70.8%
    8. Shadow of the Colossus – PS4 – 8,598/32.0%
    9. Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match – 7,550/15.9%
    10. Pokémon Crystal – 3DS -6,861/44.4%

 

Counting both retail and digital sales, Monster Hunter: World will have sold 638,881 copies in Japan alone in February. As a comparison, Dynasty Warriors 9 sold a combined 188,237 copies.
