Capcom unexpectedly released Monster Hunter Stories on iOS and Android in Japan and it is now available for 1,900 yen. There’s also a demo that lets you play the first chapter for free.
The above is a look at an introduction trailer for Monster Hunter Stories on smartphone.
The Monster Hunter Stories: Departing Chapter demo allows you to play the starting chapter, and it is now available in Japan for iOS and Android.
Monster Hunter Stories on smartphones is pretty much the exact same thing as the 3DS version that released in Japan in October last year and this past September in the West.
The iOS version of the demo will also allow players to go against each other in online battles.
While the game is mostly the same as the 3DS version, there are a few additions. Monster Hunter Stories on smartphone has higher resolution, an auto-save function, and controls that make it easier to play on smartphone.
Monster Hunter Stories is now available in Japan for Nintendo 3DS, iOS, and Android.
