Capcom’s been sharing a lot of Monster Hunter Rise concept art lately. These images look at things like monsters we’ll fight in the game and armor. The latest batches focus on a specific character. This time, Tetranadon is the star and frankly, in some images this kappa-inspired creature looks sort of cute.

The official Monster Hunter series Twitter account has been sharing these images for the past few days. Things kicked off on October 20, 2020 with full color pictures of Tetranadon. One offered a close up of the monster’s face, while the other looked at the full body from the side. The ones from October 21, 2020 were both elaborate looks at the creature underwater and a close-up peek at its face. Finally, the October 22, 2020 picture has it sunbathing with what might possibly be some of its babies.

Here’s the full gallery of all of the Tetranadon Monster Hunter Rise concept art Capcom released so far.

Monster Hunter Rise is an entirely new entry in the series for the Nintendo Switch, though it seems like it takes some cues from Monster Hunter World. Voice chat won’t be available in the full game, but 14 weapons will be coming back.

Monster Hunter Rise will come to the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021.
