Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Sold Over 4 Million Copies

The official Twitter account for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has announced that Sunbreak sold over 4 million copies worldwide. As well, the base Monster Hunter Rise game has sold over 11 million copies as well. A commemorative item pack will be available from August 24, 2022.

The commemorative Elgado Pack 4 will have:

  • Max Potions x25
  • Mega Barrel Bombs x10
  • Great Whetfish x5
  • Heavy Armor Spheres x5
  • Golden Eggs x3

This pack is available worldwide and you can obtain it in-game from Senri the Mailman.

Sunbreak is the first major expansion update to Monster Hunter Rise, adding on new monsters and features. It launched on June 30, 2022, meaning that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak reached this milestone in just under two months.

The Sunbreak expansion pack also helped to boost Rise’s sales, as the two are available in a bundle. Since its debut, Sunbreak has also had its own updates to add on features and monsters. For example, the first title updates, which were free, added on weekly event quests. More updates will appear throughout 2022, as well as into 2023. However, it is still unclear what 2023’s updates will include.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is available on Windows PC via Steam, as well as on Nintendo Switch.
