Monster Hunter Rise Item Packs Celebrate Upcoming Sunbreak Expansion

In celebration of the upcoming Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion, Capcom is giving away free item packs to hunters. The two item packs include useful crafting ingredients and upgrade materials. The sets prepare players for the new monsters and difficult quests. Capcom also updated the game with new challenges and event quests.

The “Guild Provisions 3” item pack includes 88 honey. These are used to create Great Health Potions and other important recovery items. THe “Guild Provisions 4” item pack gives players 20 Great Health Potions, as well as 20 Steel Eggs that can be sold for valuable currency. Additionally, the item pack includes Advanced, Hard, and Heavy Armor Spheres. Players can use these spheres to upgrade armors. Armor Spheres in particular are incredibly useful for late-game monsters, such as the Crimson Glow Valstrax and the upcoming Elder Dragon in Sunbreak.

Capcom also added a Magnamalo Challenge Quest, in which pairs of two players can take on the monster. The previously-announced Mega Man collaboration event quest is also currently available. It requires hunters to fight a Zinogre in order to craft the new Rush layered armor. Looking forward to more information about the upcoming expansion? Monster Hunter Rise is available now on Nintendo Switch. The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion pack will launch in Summer 2022 alongside the game’s PC release. The celebration Item Packs are immediately available via Senri the Mailman.
