Monster Hunter Rise Guild Cross Armor and Legacy Talisman Will Help Players in Early Game

Monster Hunter Rise Guild Cross Armor Legacy Talisman

The Guild Cross armor set is returning to Monster Hunter Rise alongside a new Legacy Talisman. Similar to the Defender armor set in Monster Hunter World, both are designed to help beginning players get through the early Low-Rank quests. The armor set and talisman are immediately available via Senri the Mailman.

Equipping the full Guild Cross armor set provides players with skills that will boost gathering rewards and improve mobility. Each piece of armor has a base defense stat of 24, with no positive or negative resistances. Furthermore, neither the talisman nor armor pieces feature armor decoration slots. Hunters can also use the Guild Cross set as layered armor.

The new equipment will be available at Senri the Mailman once players have downloaded the latest Ver.3.5.0 patch of Monster Hunter Rise. As with previous free DLC, you can download the content through the “Add-On Content” tab in Senri’s menu.

Compared to Monster Hunter World‘s Defender set, the Guild Cross armor set is only intended to get players to High-Rank quests. The Defender set allowed players to clear content up until the Iceborne expansion. Notably, the Guild Cross armor set also existed in Monster Hunter World. Players could craft the set using materials earned through completing Arena and challenge quests.
