Capcom announced that the Monster Hunter Rise trial will be coming back to the Switch, this time with a new Magnamalo hunting quest. The Monster Hunter Rise Demo Version 2 will be available from March 11, 2021. It was one of many articles to come up during the March 2021 Monster Hunter event.

Players who already downloaded the first version of the demo can update the game to add the Magnamalo quest. Doing so will also reset the number of tries that players have, allowing for a fresh start. The demo will also include the missions that were available back in January. Those were “Slay a Great Izuchi,” “Slay a Mizutsune,” “Basic Training Quest,” and “Wyvern Riding Training Quest.”

The new quest, titled “Slay Magnamalo” will be an advanced difficulty mission. As with the Mizutsune and Great Izuchi quests, it will be set in the Shrine Ruins map. All players will be given fixed armor and weapon sets to choose from.

As with the previous demo version, playing the demo will give you special rewards, so be sure not to delete the demo data from your console.

Monster Hunter Rise will come to the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021, and the demo will return on March 11, 2021. An additional trailer showing the Rampage debuted at the event as well.
