Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2 Bundle Announced

Capcom will sell a Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin bundle in Japan. Consumers will be able to buy the bundle for 10,989 yen, or roughly $96. The Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin 2 bundle will release on November 11, 2021. It will only be available as a physical edition for the Nintendo Switch. Additionally, Capcom will release a Monster Hunter Rise “Best Price” physical edition in December. It will cost 5,590 yen, or $49. This edition has also only been announced for Japan. It is unclear if a price reduced physical edition will release in other regions.

In its most recent financial report, Capcom revealed that it brought in a strong second quarter thanks to Monster Hunter Rise. It also mentioned that strong sales for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin contributed to its second quarter. Sales for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin officially surpassed 1 million units worldwide in July 2021. Additionally, Monster Hunter Rise remains Capcom’s best selling single platform title, sitting at 7.5 million units sold worldwide.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is immediately available for Nintendo Switch and PC. Monster Hunter Rise is available on Nintendo Switch. A PC version will release on January 12, 2022 through Steam.
