First, here’s a look at its announcement trailer.

As far as the story goes, its setting is similar to that of Monster Hunter Stories, where humans and monsters live together in peace. Hundreds of years earlier the land saw a great calamity, but thanks to the “Ten Great Dragon Knights” they avoided disaster. However, as time passed by, certain darkness awaits in the continent called Felgia where humans and monsters live.

The gameplay is more of an RPG with command-based battles and skills. It emphasizes party customization made of various monsters and Riders. It features many popular monsters including Rathalos, Zinogre, Nargacuga, Glavenous, and more.

Monster Hunter Riders releases in Japan this winter for iOS and Android as a free-to-play title. Pre-registration is now available for both iOS and Android.
