Capcom announced the re-release of a hoodie based on Khezu, the pale wyvern from Monster Hunter. This updated version of the hoodie will be available for purchase through the eCapcom online store, with pre-orders now being accepted in Japan. The hoodie is inspired by Khezu, a recurring monster from the Monster Hunter series known for its distinctive form and large mouth. The design includes a hood with fang imagery and printed wings on the back. The hoodie is a free-size product, also known as the Japanese equivalent of “one size fits all.” Its dimensions are 75 cm in length (29.5 inches), 61 cm in body width (24 inches), 59 cm in shoulder width (23.2 inches), and 62 cm in sleeve length (24.4 inches).
This announcement follows the previously announced Khezu-themed slippers, which are priced at 2,970 yen (approximately $19). Those are designed to look as if the wearer’s feet are being eaten by Khezu.
Pre-orders are currently open, and the hoodie is expected to start delivery on October 17, 2024. The hoodie will be available on eCapcom, Amazon, Rakuten, and DMM.com. The next mainline Monster Hunter game will be Monster Hunter Wilds in 2025 for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
