The reason for the termination of service on Xbox 360 and Wii U is due to both hardware being no longer in production, and providing the proper service and support had become increasingly difficult for Capcom. With that said, the company decided to officially end service for the two on August 1.

Monster Hunter Frontier Z is the latest update of Monster Hunter Frontier. It is also available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PC. The Monster Hunter Frontier Z major update launched back in November 2016.

Those with accounts on Xbox 360 and Wii U can continue playing on the PC.
