Monster Hunter 4 Collaboration With One Piece Brings Chopper Into The Game

Recommended Videos

Monster Hunter 4 has already seen a few notable collaborations with the Fairy Tail manga, Nintendo’s Super Mario and Zelda games, and even with a Capcom magazine. Its next collaboration, however, is possibly an even bigger deal.

Anime News Network reports that the latest issue of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine reveals a collaboration between Monster Hunter 4 and One Piece, in celebration of the One Piece manga having sold 300 million copies.

The collaboration will allow you to recruit Chopper from One Piece as an assistant fighter. He will come with an “Excited Chopper” armour and a wooden branch as a weapon.

What other abilities Chopper will have is unknown at this time. We’ll have more to report as details are made available. In the meantime, here’s some food for thought—the next major One Piece game is a Monster Hunter-inspired title itself, and is scheduled for 3DS release this November.
