Being a slime in other JRPG universes might not be a good thing, but in Antiquia Lost, it makes for a heroine with the handy ability to copy monster powers.
In Antiquia Lost, players are investigating a series of disappearances, doing so with a ragtag group of cat-men, demonic boys, and monstrous ladies. The heroine, being made of slime, makes for a malleable warrior, one who can grow stronger by eating gemstones with various properties, boosting her stats or giving her new abilities. She can also learn to mimic monster powers, copying them and reshaping herself to use them in battle.
The heroine is also capable of some neat things outside of combat, squishing herself down to squish through narrow pathways during dungeon exploration. The other heroes don’t just stand around, though, and can also use powers to smash boulders, each offering their own exploration ability when put in the head of the party.
Antiquia Lost is available now on iOS and Android devices, and has recently also released on Steam.
