Monark to Receive English Localization Complete With Voice Overs

Monark, a new RPG by former Shin Megami Tensei staff members, has been officially revealed. While specific details regarding an English localization had yet to be revealed, publisher Clouded Leopard confirmed that Monark will receive an English language version. However, the English language version of the game will not be immediately available on release. [Thanks, Gematsu!]

That said, Monark will release with Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean language support. An English language version, complete with voice acting, will arrive sometime post-launch. This update will be entirely for free. However, there is still no word regarding an official Western release for the RPG.

Additionally, more details regarding the upcoming school-focused RPG have come out. This includes the mysterious teaser page now appearing as a fully fleshed out website. Additional information regarding the scenario, which dives into the universe of the RPG, also came out. The site contains details regarding the main cast, accompanied by key art. Finally, details regarding pre-order bonuses and a physical limited edition were also shared.

Monark will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on October 14, 2021 to Japanese audiences. While there still isn’t an official Western release date, Monark will receive an English localization sometime after release.
