Momosuzu Nene of Hololive has caught COVID-19 again and will take a hiatus. She promises to return to streaming as soon as possible.
In her tweet on social media, she posted a voice recording of herself telling people that she’ll be back soon and that she’ll seeeveryone again. Her voice sounded quite terrible, as if it’s very difficult for her to even speak. According to her message, she had a fever of 40 degrees Celsius. It was the highest fever she’d ever had. As well, she says that she’s practically clutching onto her phone for life to send out her announcement.
In the note, she also wondered if her recent work load might have been a cause for her getting sick. She stated that her motivation has been very high as of late. As of the time of writing, neither she nor the official Hololive JP Twitter account offered an approximate date for her return.
Momosuzu Nene is one of the fifth generation of Hololive VTubers. Those who debuted with her include Yukihana Lamy, Omaru Polka, and Shishiro Botan. She started streaming in 2020.
