With the weekend comes another Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON Open Access period. On July 11, 2020, Siliconera will stream Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON as part of the Open Access period through our official Twitch page. A room will be set up in the online lobby until the name Siliconera. If you would like to play with the staff, but haven’t downloaded the Open Access period beta, you can do so via the PlayStation store. Siliconera will stream Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON today at 6pm CET/9am PT/12pm ET.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS Maxi Boost ON is a port of the 2016 arcade version of Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost. Originally only released for Japanese arcades, Maxi Boost ON will be released worldwide later this month. There are over 180 mobile suits for players to choose from during this Open Access period. PlayStation Plus is not required to participate in the Open Access weekends.

Future Open Access periods will include:

  • July 18, 12pm JST to July 19, 12pm JST
  • July 25, 12pm JST to July 26, 12pm JST

So there will still be plenty of time to try out Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS Maxi Boost ON beyond this weekend. If you have pre-ordered Maxi Boost ON, the Open Access periods will extend for an additional 24 hours. However, this is only applicable to those that have pre-ordered copies through the Japanese PlayStation Online store.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS Maxi Boost ON will come to the PlayStation 4 worldwide on July 30, 2020.
