Faust is going to stalk the halls of Mistover’s Pillar of Despair. The Guilty Gear character will be joining the game in an add-on that will initially be exclusive to the Japanese physical version of the game. However, Arc System Works’ overview of the DLC confirmed that it won’t just be available with that bundle. At the end of the announcement, it confirmed that the DLC will be sold separately eventually through storefronts.
The Mistover Guilty Gear Faust add-on’s theme is Dark Doctor Faust’s Unexpected Interdimensional Journey and takes place around the time of Guilty Gear Xrd. This brings him to the Pillar of Despair that the Corps are investigating. Players’ group and Faust end up fighting while exploring this near area, which will involve journeying through a new dungeon and collecting new items. People may need to expect even more despair than usual.
Mistover is available worldwide on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC, however the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 physical copies with the Faust Dungeon add-on will only appear in Japan on January 23, 2020. The DLC will eventually be sold separately.
