Back in June, Mikage LLC—the company formed by former Imageepoch head Ryohei Mikage—updated its official website with info on two more of their upcoming games. Currently, the company’s only officially announced game, which also happens to be the company’s first project, is Criminal Girls X.

The first new project is something called “AAproject,” which has yet to be officially announced, but will reportedly release in Fall 2021. The title is most likely the original strategy RPG developed together with a major game company, revealed back in 2019. While previously Mikage also announced a collaboration with Aksys Games, this turned out to be Escape from Asura, the Western version of Criminal Girls X. This still doesn’t tell us much about the upcoming tactical RPG, but at least we now know the window of release for the project.

Meanwhile, Mikage has yet another project in the works, titled 99Girls Bull’s Eye. This is identical with a trademark filed by the company back in February of this year, and is set to release in Winter 2022. While we don’t know the genre of the game, it’s likely an RPG due to company head Mikage’s former experience at Imageepoch, especially since the company’s website states that they excel at the genre.

While the company still has yet to release Criminal Girls X aka Escape from Asura due to a delay from the coronavirus impact, the game is launching soon in October for Android first and November for iOS. It’ll likely serve as the bar that future Mikage LLC games are judged against, and with this many projects in the works, it’s clear that Mikage is serious about returning to the games industry after the closing of Imageepoch.
