Mighty Gunvolt Burst was previously confirmed to add RAY, Copen, and Kurona to the roster of additional DLC characters, and a new trailer was released by Inti Creates today, showing off what each character can do.

Below is the full trailer:

Here are Inti Creates’ introductions to the characters’ playstyles:

“As RAY, unleash powerful melee attacks with her claws, charge and fore her massive Collapse Ray beam, and watch out for her Xel Decay, which slowly drains her health. Recover health by attacking enemies!

As Copen, turn Element abilities you reserve from defeated bosses into EX Weapons with the help of your combat pod AI, Lola! Take to the skies with Copen’s Mid-Air Dash Z, which allows him to perform multiple air dashes before hitting the ground.

As Kurona, fire energy shots from your Demon Spear, and power them up with her Demonic Power to have them temporarily pierce through shields. Float through the air with her Hovering ability, then rain some pain down on the heads of her foes with Kurona’s devastating Spear Drop ability!”

In addition to the new trailer for the DLC characters, the above wallpaper was drawn by character artist Yuji Natsume in commemoration of the 80,000 downloads milestone. You can find the wallpaper in different sizes through this link.

There will also be a new demo for the game, with Gunvolt, Beck, and Ekoro playable in the City, Radio Tower, and Waterworks Bureau stages. By transferring demo data over to a retail version of the game, Ekoro can be unlocked free of charge.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst is available digitally for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS. The three characters will become available to purchase on December 28, 2017.
