Microsoft To Release Shiny New Xbox 360 Controllers

Microsoft will release two special Xbox 360 wireless controllers this March, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has announced. The “Special Edition Chrome Series” controllers will come in black and purple, and will retail for $54.99 each.

Both colours will be available worldwide, but in the U.S., they’ll only be available exclusively through certain retail chains. The black controller will exclusive to Walmart and the Microsoft Store, while the purple controller will be exclusive to Best Buy and the Microsoft Store.
