Michael B. Jordan Appeared in a Street Fighter 6 SNL Skit

Michael B. Jordan hosted the January 28, 2023 episode of SNL, and he appeared as one of the stars in a Street Fighter 6 skit. The concept behind it is that he was one of two voice actors voicing characters for the game. However, while he has one take on the role, regular cast member Bowen Yang comes in with a different take on the situation.

Here’s the full Street Fighter 6 skit from the official SNL skit. Jordan is playing the role of Ken Masters in the “game.” Meanwhile, Yang is playing Ryu. Things start with the two recording exclamations in the heat of battle. At about the two minute mark, the two of them record some voiced lines. The very end of the skit features some footage of Ken and Ryu with Jordan and Yang’s versions of the lines.

SNL isn’t the only show that involved Street Fighter 6 references this weekend. Thea Trinidad showed up to the WWE Royal Rumble in Juri cosplay. This weekend Capcom also announced that she would be one of the celebrity commentators for the game. When it did, it shared footage of her narrating a match in which Juri was involved.

Street Fighter 6 will appear on June 2, 2023 on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and PC.
