Another Metroid game is coming to the Nintendo eShop. Metroid: Zero Mission, originally released on the Game Boy Advance in 2004, will be available on the Nintendo Wii U on January 14.

Metroid: Zero Mission is a remake of the original Metroid. Samus has been sent to Zebes to get inside the Space Pirates base and destroy Mother Brain, so the pirates can’t use Metroids for their own means. Along the way, she gets new upgrades and weapons that allow her to access different areas.

Chronologically, Metroid: Zero Mission is the first Metroid game. It’s followed by Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime Hunters. It will be $7.99 when it is added to the North American eShop.
