Metaphor: ReFantazio PS4 and PS5 Versions Confirmed

Metaphor: ReFantazio won’t be an Xbox-exclusive game, as Sega Korea just confirmed PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. During the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 on June 11, 2023, Project Re Fantasy reappeared. However, Atlus only confirmed Xbox Series X and Windows PC in that reveal trailer. This latest announcement added a trailer with an additional row of platforms. That confirmed the two Sony consoles, as well as a Steam release for PCs. [Thanks, Gematsu!]

Here’s the Sega Korea confirmation of the Metaphor: ReFantazio PS4 and PS5 versions. For those unaware, Sega owns Atlus, explaining why it would be handling such an announcement for the region. It also confirmed team members we were already aware of. That is, Katsura Hashino is the game’s director, Shigenori Soejima is the character artist, and Shoji Meguro composed its soundtrack. The trailer itself is identical to the Xbox Games Showcase one, albeit with the different panel at the end revealing platforms.
