Dotemu, Leikir Studio, and SNK announced a strategic new Metal Slug Game at the June 10, 2021 Summer Game Fest 2021 Kickoff. Metal Slug Tactics is on the way.
This will be a turn-based, tactical game. It will have an isometric perspective and sprite-based graphics. Iconic characters like Eri, Fio, Marco, and Tarma all appeared in the announcement trailer.

Metal Slug Tactics is in development for the PC and its Steam page is now live.
