Metal Gear Solid’s Intro Gets An Awesome Fan-Made Remake

Metal Gear Solid celebrated its 20th birthday on September 3, and to commemorate the occasion, a fan did a remake of the original intro scene with Unreal Engine 4.

The fan-made remake video is real-time rendered with Unreal Engine 4 with various marketplace assets. The audio also got a remaster touch with new sound FX, as well as other edits including new shots and a brand-new start menu animation. It was created by Erasmus Brosau, and you can check out more of his work here.

Metal Gear Solid first released in Japan in September 1998, followed by North America in October 1998 and Europe in February 1999.
