Something seems to be coming. Except, well, it’s only being teased for now and hinted at by ratings. It looks like we could see Metal Gear Solid GOG listings soon, if the cryptic Twitter exchanges between the Konami and GOG accounts are any indication.
First Konami tweeted at GOG, a site known for selling classic PC games that have the sorts of updates necessary to ensure they can run on modern PCs. It sent over a box emoji, much like the ones Snake hides in to avoid suspicion.

This did not go unnoticed! GOG’s social media account responded in kind, making use of emojis to pull up the classic exclamation alert and eyes directed toward it. (You can practically hear the alert chime.)

All this comes after a sudden rating of PC versions of three games in the series. Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance were all rated in Taiwan.
Given that we are in the midst of the 2020 Tokyo Game Show and some ratings did already appear, there could be a chance of these games being announced or appearing during the event. But it seems like the teasing is suggesting something could show up soon.
