Based on 2021’s Megaton Musashi XMegaton Musashi Wired will appear on PS4, PS5 and PC, and feature the content of both the original game and a large amount of new content. It’ll also support online cross-play for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC versions.

Megaton Musashi‘s story pays tribute to the classic era of Japanese Super Robot anime. The alien Dracters have wiped out 99.9% of humanity, and confined the remaining survivors to an underground shelter, where their memories of the invasion are forcibly repressed. Only a select group of youngsters know the truth, and fight back against their oppressors using giant mecha called “Rogues.”

Players will be able to build and customize their own Rogues and take them into battle in single- and multi-player matches. The game will have both co-op and competitive play. Additionally, it’ll have crossovers with famous Super Robots, including Mazinger Z, UFO Robot Grendizer, Getter Robo, Combattler V, and Voltes V.

Megaton Musashi Wired is in development for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and a 2023 global release is planned.
