Mega Ran Com: Mission Is The Rapper’s Fourth Mega Man-Themed Album

Recommended Videos

Capcom-blessed rapper Mega Ran has released his first Mega Man-themed album in four years with the 13-track Mega Ran Com: Mission. It’s available to listen to and purchase as a digital album on Bandcamp for $6. A physical album with two extra tracks can also be bought on Bandcamp for $10.

The album is a mix of chip hop and lyrics based upon Mega Man 2, Mega Man & Bass, and the fan-made title  Mega Man Unlimited.

It was made possible due to a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014, which raised enough money for two music videos, a NES cart album, and vinyl and CD versions of the album.

Mega Ran’s first Mega Man-themed album was released in 2007, then there was another in 2009, and another in 2011. So Mega Ran Com: Mission is his fourth. He’s also released albums based upon Final Fantasy VII, River City Ransom, and Castlevania.
